The Costa Daurada, and Tarragona specifically, has a unique relevance in the Ancient Roman history of the Iberian Peninsula. Tarraco was a great commercial centre in its time, and luckily for us the majority of Roman remains in the city have been preserved quite well.
You can visit from the amphitheatre adjacent to the Mediterranean Sea to going all over the walled precinct. And we shouldn't forget the Circus, the Theatre, and even the wonderfully preserved Roman Aqueduct, also known as the Pont del Diable (Devil’s Bridge).
